pidgin-librvp software package provides MS Exchange RVP instant messaging plugin for Pidgin, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pidgin-librvp
pidgin-librvp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pidgin-librvp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pidgin-librvp *
You will get with pidgin-librvp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
